For Little Sheep & Slingshot students who want more than recreational training, our Competition Team provides a clear pathway to test their skills under real pressure and grow through it. Competition at DVG is not something you casually join, it’s something you earn. When our coaches see the right level of focus, effort, and potential, students are invited to step into our competition prep classes held Monday through Thursday from 4:45–5:15 PM. From there, they begin developing the mindset, discipline, and technical sharpness required to perform against other schools in live tournament settings such as NAGA, FUJI, Grappling Industries, and the Hawaii Triple Crown.

What sets our team apart is the level of coaching and support. We don’t just send students out to compete, we prepare them and stand beside them. Our coaches are present mat-side at tournaments, guiding students through each match, helping them stay composed, make adjustments, and perform at their best.
